AquaLAN is Southern Norway's largest computer party - a unique event for children and young people that combines gaming, competitions and social fun with swimming in one of Norway's coolest water parks.

AquaLAN is not just a computer party, it is a holistic experience where we bring together children and young people across age, gender and interests through the unifying power of computer culture.
The idea of AquaLAN has been on the drawing board for several years, and now it is finally becoming reality. The goal is to make AquaLAN one of Norway's coolest computer parties, and put Southern Norway on the map as a leading organizer of youth-oriented tech and gaming events.
An important basic idea behind AquaLAN is to make the event accessible to everyone - regardless of background. That's why we're working with a number of socially committed organizations to ensure that children and young people with financial challenges can also participate.
Where and when is it arranged
AquaLAN will be held in the sports hall at Aquarama, Tangen 8, 4608 Kristiansand.

Start: Monday, 9:00 a.m. (earliest admission)
Official program start: Monday , 12:00 p.m.
End: Wednesday , 4:00 p.m.

Is there food at the event?
๐ฅ Yes - lots of good and nutritious food!
We know that good energy makes for good gaming, so we've made sure that breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks are readily available throughout the LAN.
๐ฝ๏ธ Meal packages (add-ons at ticket purchase)
When you buy your ticket, you can also choose to add food vouchers. Here you can choose both dinner and breakfast on one or all days. These dishes are:
- Made in our own kitchen
- Healthy and full of content
- Adapted to allergens and special needs
(We recommend that you add the meal package when you buy your ticket)
You can also buy a breakfast and dinner bong on site, but it's a little cheaper if you buy it at the same time as your ticket.
๐ฅช 24-hour kiosk
Our kiosk is open around the clock and offers:
- Beverages (soft drinks, juices, water, etc.)
- Snacks and sweets
- Simple spreadable foods

In addition, we have our own restaurant with full meals:
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner
- Always with more choice and great ingredients
- Vegetarian options and consideration for allergens

How does attendance and rigging work?
๐๏ธ Rigging takes place on Monday, February 16, from 09:00
๐ฎ Entry and startup is Monday 16 February.
You will receive further info about time, entrance and when you can start rigging your equipment. Stay tuned to our email and Discord server for updates.
You will be welcomed by the crew on arrival, given a wristband and shown to your seat.
Official LAN start with program is Monday, February 16 from 12:00
What happens if I'm late?
No stress - you can still come in!
Just contact the info desk or a guard at the door and we'll help you with registration and placement. If you arrive very late (e.g. at night), it may take a little extra time before we get you in - but we will always let you in as long as you are a participant.
We recommend everyone to come between 09:00 - 12:00 on Monday, as it is the core time for drop-in and program start.
Can I bring friends or parents?
๐จโ๐ฉโ๐ง Parents and guardians are welcome to follow you in and help you get started.
Guardians can also come in for a short visit during the event, if they wish. Please contact the crew at the entrance to register your visit.
๐ซ If you have friends who are not registered, they can unfortunately not be included in the hall. AquaLAN is only open to registered participants and crew. But maybe they'll join us next year?
What happens to forgotten items?
๐ Lost property is delivered to the info desk.
We collect everything that is forgotten and post a summary after the event on Discord and our website.
We recommend that you label all your equipment with your name to make it easier to find you if something goes missing.
Anything not picked up within 1 week will be donated to a charitable organization.
What happens if I get sick?
๐ค If you fall ill during the event, please let the crew or the info desk know. We have health officers (medic crew) present at all times and they will assess the situation together with you.
If you are too ill to attend, we will contact your parents or guardians and help you travel home safely. Tickets are not refundable in case of illness.
What do I do if I need technical help or have questions?
๐ก Do you need help with your PC, network, cables or anything else?
๐งโ๐ป Tech Crew will be available throughout the event - you can find them with their own vests or by contacting the info desk.

- Sleeping, food, wardrobes and more

Shower and wardrobe options
Yes, there are changing rooms and showers available for all participants, in women's and men's changing rooms attached to the hall.
We need volunteers!
We are looking for committed volunteers who want to help make AquaLAN an unforgettable experience for children and young people. As a volunteer, you will gain valuable experience, new friends and the opportunity to take part in one of the largest events in southern Norway.
You can help with everything from rigging and technical support to running the competition and practical implementation. Sign up today and become part of the team!
