Date of event and time of release
AquaLAN 2025 starts on Monday, February 16.

Visits from guardians
Parents and guardians are welcome to stop by during the event. Get in touch with the crew at the entrance and we will help you in for a short visit.
We also encourage parents to follow the information in advance, and stay updated on our website.
Food and drink
It will be possible to buy food and drinks in the hall throughout the LAN, if you have not already purchased this via your ticket. We have a varied selection of both hot and cold food, snacks and drinks.
You are allowed to bring your own food, but there is no access to a refrigerator or cooking facilities. There will be a station where you have the opportunity to heat food in the microwave and kettle.
Remember: Enough water = better gaming. Feel free to bring a water bottle to refill along the way!
What to bring with you
We recommend that you pack smart! Bring what you need to game, sleep, and have a good time for three days.
You can find a detailed packing list here: See packing list
Where to stay
It will be possible for accommodation on site, in designated rooms. These will be staffed at all times. For sleeping places, we operate on a first-come, first-served basis, where the first 200 tickets will have the opportunity to reserve a unique and permanent sleeping place at the exhibition center in the waterpark. X number of places will be available for drop-in, in other rooms connected to the hall.
There will be a separate wardrobe arrangement in one of the rooms attached to the hall, where you can store your sleeping bags at all times.
Sleeping bag, sleeping mat and sleeping mask/earplugs are recommended!
For those who wish to stay at a hotel, our next-door neighbor, Scandic Hotel Bystranda, offers a discounted rate on accommodation. This can be booked here (link), and the discount code is XXXX.
Loading and unloading
Drop-off and pick-up is in Østre Strandgate, right next to Scandic Bystranda. Follow the signs and instructions from our parking attendants.
We ask everyone to stay within the marked areas and show consideration so that it is safe and efficient for all participants and parents.
Please note that check-in at the start of the event can only take place from 9:00 a.m. on Monday, February 16.
When picking up equipment on Wednesday, this can be done by appointment, from 12:00 at the earliest and 17:00 at the latest on Wednesday, February 18.

Rules, safety, and organization
We want to make AquaLAN a safe, fun, and memorable experience for everyone. Therefore, we have a few simple rules that we expect everyone to follow.
Violation of the rules may result in expulsion – and in serious cases, reporting to the police.
Alcohol and drugs
Strictly prohibited. It is not permitted to bring, consume, or be under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances during the event. Violation of this rule will result in immediate expulsion and notification of parents or guardians.
Smoking and vaping
Smoking is not permitted inside or in the area surrounding the hall. This also applies to e-cigarettes and vapes.
Emergency exits
Emergency exits should only be used during evacuation, or if instructed to do so by the crew. They must always be kept clear of obstacles.
Theft
Do not leave valuables in plain sight. Theft must be reported to the police – contact a security guard immediately. If you find something that does not belong to you, hand it in at the information desk.
Vandalism
Damage will result in financial liability for the participant or their guardians.
Norwegian laws
If you break the law, the same rules apply here as elsewhere in society. This may result in expulsion and a report to the police.
Age limits and consent
AquaLAN has an age limit of 11 years. All participants under the age of 16 must have a signed consent form from their parents or guardians. The form is signed when purchasing a ticket to the event.
Cancelled event
We reserve the right to cancel AquaLAN if there are too few registered participants. In this case, everyone who has purchased a ticket will receive a full refund of the ticket price, with the exception of any ticket fees (e.g., fees charged by the ticket provider).
If the event has to be canceled, everyone who has registered will be notified by email and via our official channels as early as possible.
